Beschreibung: This book has developed out of two papers, one of which was presented at a General Session devoted to interconnections between Oriental civilisations at the Meeting of the Amerian Oriental Society at Yale University in March 1960. The other, delivered at the Boston Society of the Archaeological Institute of America in December 1957, placed more emphasis upon Egypt's connections with the Aegean.
