The "Orthographia" is a forgery, compsed by Caecilius Rhodiginus (L. Ricchieri) of Ferrara under the fictious name of Lucius Caecilius Minutianus Apuleius. The fragments of so-callede Apuleius Minor date from the 10th century at the earliest. cf.
