Beschreibung: A manual of mythology, which consists of a meager excerpt from the author's "Genealogiae" (originally a distinct work) followed by the "Fabulae" (also an excerpt?) and the "Indices" (a later addition by an unknown compiler) It was published with title "Fabulae" by J. Micyllus (Editio princeps, Basileae, 1535) Portions of this work in Latin (entitled Hygini Genealogia) and in Greek translation form part of the Pseudodositheana hermeneumata. cf. In this edition, a genealogical arrangement of the Fabulae has been followed.
