All the plates have J. Merigot as publisher, many also have R. Edwards in conjunction with him. The plates are dated from 1796 to 1798, but are on paper watermarked 1815. Frontispiece with title: Ruines de Rome; with imprint: Published by J. Hearne, 218 Tottenham Court Road. Printing information from verso of t.p., but mostly deleted. Type: italic and roman. Signature: [A]-I2; the other leaves unsigned. |
