An earlier version of the translation appeared in Madrid in 1990 with title: Imago mundi del Cardenal Pedro d'Ailly y Juan Gerson. Included are translations of d'Ailly's Imago mundi, Epilogus mappae mundi, Compendium cosmographiae I, Compendium cosmographiae II, Tractatus de concordantia astronomicae veritatis et narrationis historicae, Tractatus de concordia discordantium astronomorum. Translation from Latin into Spanish of six of the thirteen treatises of Pierre d'Ailly which were printed together in Louvain by Johannes de Westphalia ca. 1483; translation includes the ms. marginal notes added by Christopher Columbus in his copy (held now by Biblioteca Colombina in Seville). |
