About 5 or 6 years ago, I got one of these, about 3 cm diameter, 3-D printed in bronze. I've been studying it ever since, until recently highly influenced by the ideas of others. And then it hit me: Has anyone considered that the Roman Dodecahedron was simply an equivalent to what we English speakers call "dice"? Why else would they be found among coins? What else can you do to relieve boredom in the fields for 10 hours a day? Why else were they left (found) in the fields, out of sight? I haven't calculated just how many games might be played, but they are many . Unlike most other thesis I have read that are all in part subject to counter-arguments, I haven't yet come up with any real counter-argument to defend concerning any part of my theory. I welcome comments, and thank you for your indulgence with the language. Ashley Youngman
